These plates are perfectly sterile malt extract agar plates. They were not up to our standards for full price orders. Defects may include: excessive sediment, bubbles, bad pours, or agar touching the lid of the plate. Sold in stacks of ten.

WINTER ADVICE: please warm plates slowly as a rapid increase in temperature will cause an excessive amount of condensation. The best method we have seen so far is to place the plates in a cooler outside and bring them in. This will provide a buffer that allows them to warm up at a slower rate.
